Getting bigger 1:16pm April 15th

Owen's nurse just informed us that they weighed Owen this morning.  Owen has gained weight since he was born, born 8lbs even, now he is up to 8lbs 2oz.  Now that may not seem like much of a weight gain being that he is almost two weeks old, but I think that is pretty impressive.  Having had a major surgery at three days old and not really being able to take milk until a few days ago, gaining two ounces since birth is pretty darn good in my books.  I wonder if they are going to have a target weight for Owen before we get to take him home.  Nobody has said anything about that to us yet, but I know that they have target weights for other babies in the CICU.
