Skin to Skin 8:33pm April 14th

Right now Cassie is getting some long awaited skin to skin contact with Owen.  She was just asking the nurse if she could hold Owen before we go back to the Ronald McDonald house and the nurse said that she could even get in some skin to skin time.  Cassie couldn't even dream of passing that up.  Sorry, no pictures of this one.  His nurse said that she has an order to stop Owen's Heparin drip around 4am in anticipation of removing some of Owen's lines in the morning.  She also had to turn down one of the medications down that they are trying to ween him off of because his blood pressure was getting kind of low.
