Breathing on his own 8:10am April 13th

Cassie just called the hospital to get another update on Owen (she was worried that they didn't call her to tell her they had extubated him yet, and then I reminded her there was a shift change).  They extubate Owen about 15 minutes ago and so far he is doing great.  He was understandably upset when they were doing it, what with pulling tape off of his face and pulling a tube out of his nose, but he is doing just fine now.  Hopefully this one sticks and we will be able to hold him later today.
