Off the vent today 4:06am April 12th

Cassie just called the hospital for an update on Owen.  He has been really good all night except for around 3am he got upset and wouldn't calm down so she gave him some morphine, other than that he was getting agitated while they were suctioning him but calmed down immediately when they were done.  At rounds the doctors told the nurse to give him his 5am feeding but skip the 8am feeding so that he doesn't have a full stomach when they come in to take out his breathing tube!!  Finally they are taking him off of the ventilator again
