Tomorrow 5:49pm April 12th

The Dr. just came in to talk to us.  Because he has had so much done today, they are going to wait until tomorrow to take Owen off of the ventilator.  They are still going remove his umbilical line later because it is no longer necessary and they don't like to leave them in too long anyway because the umbilical lines close up after birth.  Now Cassie is wetting Owen's mouth with her breast milk.  They like to periodically give them oral cares just to make sure that the babies' mouths don't get too dry.  This is the first time they have allowed us to do the oral care though.
