Food 4:50pm April 13th

His nurse just came in to give Owen his milk.  I know he didn't get to taste it because they pushed it though his NG tube, but Owen did seem to react to the milk.  That has to be the weirdest sensation, having food pushed directly into your stomach.  That was actually his first food in nearly 36 hours.  Good thing he isn't really dependent on the milk for nourishment yet.  Now it is time to change his bedding.  Cassie is helping, and she even got to hold him while they were switching it out the bedding.
